The short answer? No.
Psilocybin is Schedule I in Florida, and general possession is a felony.
The long answer is that the lawful path to this work in Florida runs through a considered membership in the Sacred Bloom Church Collective.
What Florida law says
On its own, psilocybin is a Schedule I controlled substance under Florida law, and possession is a felony. In 2025 the state added spores and mycelium.
“Decriminalised” somewhere else is not “legal” here, and Florida is not Oregon. Anyone telling you there is a shortcut is selling you one.
How we work
Our ceremonial & therapeutic use of these medicines lives within the shelter of the Sacred Bloom Church Collective, a religious community devoted to entheogenic spiritual growth and rooted in Dr. Fisher’s Native American heritage.
What membership opens
Ceremony and sacrament, held with reverence. The retreats — single-day, three-day, couples, the Reset. The cacao ceremonies, the sweat lodge, the New Moon drum circle and sound bath. Integration after every session, which is the part that makes any of it last. And a community of people who arrived with the same questions you have.
Membership is not paperwork you complete to buy something. It is how the medicine stays sacred, how the work stays safe, and how the people in the room know why they are there.

Why an evaluation?
Before anyone participates there is a full medical evaluation. It is not a formality and it is not a sales step — it is the reason we are able to say yes to anyone at all.
Psychedelics are not safe for everyone. A personal or family history of psychosis, schizophrenia or bipolar disorder; cardiovascular or respiratory conditions; pregnancy or breastfeeding; active substance-use issues; and a number of psychiatric medications — antidepressants especially — can each make someone an unsuitable candidate. So can simply being in an unstable stretch of life, or having no one around you to land with afterwards.
We would far rather find that out with you, at the beginning, than have you find it out during a session. If the answer is no, we will tell you plainly, and the therapy side of this practice is still open to you.
What we're here to do
Bloom Integrated Health is a psychotherapy practice first — talk therapy for adults, in person in St. Petersburg and by telehealth across Florida, for anxiety, depression, burnout, trauma, and the identities and relationships you shouldn’t have to explain.
The preparation that gets you ready and the integration that turns an experience into change you can keep are both ordinary, legal clinical work. They are where a great deal of the lasting difference is made, and you do not need to be a member to do them.

Can I buy psilocybin in Florida?
No. It is Schedule I, possession is a felony, and since 2025 spores are included. Nothing on this page is a workaround for that.
Do I have to join the church?
For the sacramental work, yes — and membership starts with a conversation and an evaluation. For therapy, preparation and integration, no.
What happens on the first call?
We talk, and if it looks like a fit we schedule your evaluation. No commitment, no payment, no pressure.
Is everyone accepted?
No. The evaluation is a real medical review and people do not all pass it. That is the point of it.
